again, these are some of the first pictures live coming in to cnn from our helicopter, cnn exclusive for you, to see the progress of this ship as it makes it into shore and the headline, it will make it into shore, no matter what has been reported prior. the company has made a decision, dark or not dark, it is going to be going through that channel with those tugboats to make it dockside, hopefully between seven to ten hours. those tugboats working laboriously but it is a sluggish pace, make no mistake, they are going as fast as a lawn mower, about six to seven knots. if you know knots, that's not much more than miles per hour, somewhere around seven miles an hour. it is slow and some of the signs that have been hanging off, they're not in your image right now, but some of the signs that passengers have been hanging overboard have read "please help us." that's quite something. the carnival corporation is spending its -- is sending its representatives out to sea to meet up with these tugs and the ship. you can see the supplies on the tugboats and the workers also alongside that ship,

karen mcguinness joins us from the cnn weather center in atlanta. you see a baby stuck in an airport and you got to admire the smiles on face. >> just when you think spring is coming you get one of those winter storms. it is not the system but a lesser system than we were looking at 24 hours ago. look at these snowfall totals. i did see isolated amounts of 20 inches, 18 inches and 14 inches in wichita. here's that low area of pressure that we're watching making its way into the great lakes region, chicago, 3 or 4 inches of snowfall. this is going to continue to move into canada. we'll catch a secondary low pressure area develop off the carolinas but secondary rain all the way towards daytona. i hate to tell you. let's look at who enjoyed the snow the most. take a look at this bull dog. this is an ireporter coming out of missouri. the dog is crazy going down the hill. the owner, karen, says the dog is just absolutely obsessed with snowboarding. one person had some fun. we'll continue to update you on the storm system throughout the afternoon. >> agai
